Numix Blue GTK Theme: Modded without 'Unity boxes' by ChrisFR06 Numix Blue GTK Theme: Modded without 'Unity boxes' by ChrisFR06
I just made up a Remix of the "Numix Blue" original theme. The only changes are that I managed to remove the "Unity boxes" around the apps of the Ubuntu Unity launcher Nod
This change only works on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or higher. On other versions of Ubuntu it's unfortunately not possible to remove the "Unity boxes"...

(After selecting my theme, you will have to minimize and then unminimize the Ubuntu Tweak / Unity Tweak Tool window once, so the changes can apply to the Unity bar)

I hope you will enjoy this flat, simplistic theme. If you wonder where I got my icons : they are from the Moka / Faba icon packs, you can download them or get the PPA here :D (Big Grin) : mokaproject.com/
The wallpaper you can see on my desktop : chrisfr06.deviantart.com/art/B…

*(sorry if the screenshot is in french, it's because... I'm french)

Share this work with your friends if you liked it, it helps alot Giggle

Any experience about the compatibility with elementaryOS?

As it is a GTK theme it should work fine, but as ElementaryOS does not use Unity, you will only see the windows changing, as the Ubuntu and the Elementary dock isn't the same. Feel free to try out this theme on your OS to see what it actually does Nod

This Numix modded theme is just a GTK theme so the Moka icon pack has nothing to do with it. If you are having problems with your Moka Top panel icons, make sure you have the latest version of the Moka pack installed ( mokaproject.com ) and/or go check out their support page ! :meh:

You're welcome. I also don't like orange that much so I'm using this blue theme :)
